I was hoping since Easter was in April this year I could forgo the sweaters for the girls, but no such luck!!!!! We had brunch with my family on Saturday and had a egg hunt in their backyard. Presley had her first experience of dying easter eggs. She loved it! So much that she hid her dyed eggs and hunted them herself. Whenever she found a plastic egg, she promptly took it to Kennedy's pail, which was overflowing. Kennedy quickly picked up on the easter egg hunting process. She had tons of eggs and enjoyed opening and attempting to eat all the candy!
We went to the Saturday evening Easter service and enjoyed dinner and an inside egg hunt (thanks to the rain) with our small group at Charley and Lana Moore's house!
Late Saturday night/early Sunday morning we experienced the forcasted thunderstorms. Presley said the thunder and rain woke her up, she cried but did not want to come downstairs because she did not want to scare the Easter bunny off! Instead she prayed to God to help her not be scared!
Sunday we had lunch at Mimi's and were able to hunt eggs after the rain stopped.
A wonderful Easter weekend with family and friends!!
