Playing Kindergarten

Presley LOVES kindergarten. We have started to play kindergarten at home. We had rug time. Dad and Kennedy were kindergarteners, I was the helper and Presley was the teacher. She had a blanket for the rug, her little rocking chair, legs crossed and knew exactly what she was doing...

"Brad we do not sleep at rug time."
"You will call me Mrs. Thomas, but my first name is Presley."
"Today we are going to learn about...helper, what is this called again?"
"Oh yeah, students we are going to learn about Silly Puddy. We do not eat the silly puddy, we also do not put it in our ears, nose, on our feet, and not in our mouth especially after it has been in our feet."

Dad got to be the line leader and they practiced walking around. When dad suggested that Kennedy be the line leader, Mrs. Thomas said "No, she will be line leader tomorrow. Today she is the door holder."

Playing Kindergarten is becoming a favorite of Presley's. Right now Kennedy is a willing kindergartener, we will see how long that lasts.
